How to Compare Electric Scooter Supplier Quotes on the Same Basis

Compare electric scooter quotes for South America, Europe and Africa with one RFQ checklist covering specifications, delivery, documents and responsibilities.

For importers and distributors in South America, Europe and Africa, comparing electric scooter quotes starts with one shared RFQ: the same destination country, intended use, configuration, quantity and delivery basis. Check what each price includes, where the order ships from, which documents match the product and who handles import and after-sales work before comparing totals.

Send every supplier the same specification sheet and response table. Ask for a separate quotation for any proposed substitution, so a lower price does not conceal a different battery, packaging requirement or allocation of responsibilities.

Set the five RFQ requirements

  1. Configuration: Specify the model or product brief, battery voltage and capacity, motor rating and count, speed setting, charger, brakes, tyres and required accessories. Separate standard equipment from options. Ask the supplier to identify any difference from your specification.
  2. Quotation basis: Use the same quantity, currency, named delivery place or port, and Incoterms version. Request unit and order totals, packaging and customization charges, payment milestones, minimum order requirements and quote expiry. Keep freight, insurance, duties and local handling visible when comparing your estimated cost at destination.
  3. Supply route: Request the dispatch country and location, along with availability by SKU and quantity as of a stated date. Ask which event starts each timing estimate. Record factory lead time, transport, customs and final delivery separately. Having a warehouse does not confirm stock for your order.
  4. Documents: Request a list of documents covering the exact model, battery, motor, controller, speed setting and intended use. Record document type, number, issuer, date, sample configuration, scope and any gaps. Ask which requested documents are available and which require further work.
  5. Responsibilities: Name the parties handling export, transport, insurance, import clearance, destination compliance, warranty decisions, local repairs and parts freight. Record the agreed scope and cost allocation in the quotation or contract.

Use one supplier response table

Complete the buyer column first. Ask each supplier to return this table with its dated quotation and supporting files; resolve differences before comparing prices.

Comparison field Buyer baseline Supplier response required
Configuration Attached specification and version; quantity per SKU; required options Exact offered configuration; included equipment; substitutions listed separately
Quotation basis Currency; quantity; delivery term and named place; packaging and customization Unit and total price; inclusions and exclusions; MOQ basis; payment; expiry; extra charges

Match the supply route to your distribution plan

For a distributor seeking European replenishment, check the actual SKU, quantity and destination before planning around warehouse stock. MiHunter has self-operated and partner warehouse support in France, Poland, Germany and the Netherlands, with dynamic stock for selected popular products. This does not mean every model is available at every warehouse. Ask for the dispatch location, availability date and destination coverage in your quotation.

For South American importers, MiHunter has no local warehouse; orders ship from the China factory. China factory stock availability needs confirmation by model and order. For African importers, MiHunter has no local warehouse or local ready stock; orders require China factory fulfillment. In both cases, confirm transport separately and agree the destination import and service arrangements before placing the order.

For a MiHunter factory order under routine conditions, typical factory lead time is about 45 days after the agreed advance payment is received and the final configuration, colour scheme and logo are confirmed. Transportation is excluded; special materials, complex packaging, non-standard development and peak-season timing need order-specific written confirmation. MiHunter's standard quotation basis is FOB Ningbo, Incoterms 2020. Terms remain subject to configuration, stock and written quotation.

For a distributor handling local service, agree the claim workflow and who pays for diagnosis, labour and replacement-parts transport. MiHunter normally supplies replacement parts after a claim is confirmed; local labour is excluded unless agreed in writing, and the customer pays freight for separate international parts shipments by default. A service location alone does not settle those costs or establish a response-time guarantee.

Questions to resolve before you order

Can I compare the lowest unit prices first?

Compare unit prices after aligning the configuration, quantity and quotation basis. Ask suppliers to separate optional equipment, customization, packaging and logistics charges, then calculate your estimated cost at destination using the same assumptions. Keep any alternative configuration on its own line. If a supplier leaves a cost or responsibility unresolved, request clarification before treating its total as comparable.

Does a test report establish destination-country approval?

A test report supports only its stated sample, configuration and test scope. Match it to the ordered product and identify any differences before relying on it. A laboratory report or laboratory Certificate of Conformity does not replace the manufacturer's EU Declaration of Conformity or establish public-road permission. Verify the applicable requirements with the relevant destination authority or qualified adviser; South America, Europe and Africa each require country-specific checks.

Does a warehouse listing mean my order is ready to ship?

Obtain dated confirmation for your exact SKU, quantity and dispatch location. Regional warehouse support does not establish stock allocation, destination coverage or receipt time for an individual order. For a factory order, ask when factory lead time starts and request transport separately. Record whether each quoted date means dispatch or customer receipt, together with payment conditions and destination exceptions.

Who should handle import, warranty and spare parts?

Confirm the responsible parties and cost allocation in writing for the destination country and order. MiHunter's regional business scope does not designate the importer of record or the parties responsible for certification, warranty or spare parts. Specify who obtains and checks documents, manages clearance, approves claims, performs repairs and pays labour and freight. Include escalation contacts and the procedure for unresolved claims in the agreement.

Request a B2B quotation

Choose models from the MiHunter product range, then send your completed RFQ cover sheet for an importer or distributor quotation. Include the destination, intended use, configuration, quantity, delivery basis and document requirements so the response can address your procurement plan. Request separate confirmation of stock, factory lead time, transport and after-sales responsibilities.
