W-series mobility scooters: choosing W01, W02, W04 and W05 for your channel

Build your senior mobility-scooter assortment around the configurations your dealers can demonstrate and your service team can support. For distributors, importers and retail chains, SIGMA MIHUNTER W01, W02, W04 and W05 offer different battery, range and folding options. Use the comparison below to shortlist models, then request a quotation for the exact mix, destination and quantities. Private-label and OEM/ODM buyers should include customisation requirements from the outset.

Compare the four models

According to the Mihunter 2026 catalog / www.mihunter.com and the customer product table, with product input dated 2026-08-19, all four models list a *250 W motor, 24 V system, 8 km/h maximum speed and 150 kg maximum load*. All four also list *e-brake and IP54*.

These are listed specifications, not independent performance-test results. Slash figures are configuration options, not continuous ranges; the battery-to-range mapping still needs confirmation. Range varies with rider weight, temperature and terrain. Confirm the supplied battery configuration, charger and range option in your quotation. 

Turn the shortlist into a sample plan

Compare W01 and W04 if remote-folding demonstrations are part of your dealer sales process. Compare W02 and W05 when you want to evaluate the listed dual-battery options; W05 also lists larger solid tyres and turn signals. Assess these differences against your display, training and parts requirements before choosing the mix.

Request folded dimensions, handling weight, folding time and packing/container-loading details before planning displays or shipments. These details and sample demonstration results still need confirmation. Ask for operation and maintenance instructions for the exact configuration; solid tyres, e-brake and IP54 do not establish maintenance-free operation, immersion protection, stability or clinical suitability.

Include supervised demonstrations, helmet guidance and checks of local age rules in dealer handover materials. Confirm intended use, product classification, applicable documents and permitted operating areas for each destination. Listed specifications and catalog certificate labels do not establish medical-device status, certification or permission to use public roads or footways. Request documents matched to the ordered model and configuration.

 Plan availability by destination

South America: our priority countries are Brazil and Argentina, with Spanish, Portuguese and English as working languages. Orders are fulfilled from the China factory, with transport time additional. Confirm stock availability by model and order.

Europe: regional warehouses in France, Poland, Germany and the Netherlands support selected popular products with dynamic stock. This does not establish availability of W01, W02, W04 or W05. Request dated confirmation for each configuration before planning a retail launch.

Africa: our priority countries are South Africa, Egypt and Morocco, in that order. Regional working languages are English, French, Portuguese and Arabic. Orders are fulfilled from the China factory, with transport time additional; stock availability requires model- and order-specific confirmation.

Working languages do not establish destination-specific labelling requirements or an existing dealer network. For each country and order, agree in writing who will act as importer of record and who will be responsible for compliance documents, warranty and parts.

Specify customisation and order terms

For private-label and OEM/ODM enquiries, distinguish the three customisation minimums:

Standard-product and stock-order minimums require a quotation. The quotation basis is FOB Ningbo / Incoterms 2020, and quotations are valid for *30 days from issue*. Terms remain subject to configuration, stock and written quotation.

Typical *factory lead time is about 45 days*, starting after we receive the agreed advance payment and the final configuration, colour and logo are confirmed. Transport time is excluded; non-standard work requires separate confirmation.

Agree warranty and parts arrangements

The standard *12-month warranty starts at customer receipt* and covers the motor, controller, battery, display, charger and frame, subject to exclusions. Wear parts, normal wear, collision or other human-caused damage, water ingress, overloading, unauthorised modification, incorrect charging and use contrary to instructions are excluded. Local labour is not included unless agreed in writing; standalone international replacement-parts freight is normally customer-paid. Order-specific written terms control.

You may select free spare parts from MiHunter's list up to *1% of the order's product FOB value*. Selections above that allowance are chargeable. Request the parts list alongside the configuration sheet so you can agree service arrangements before ordering.
