Before you place a wholesale order, agree who handles import formalities, match the documents to your configuration and check where it may be used. Customs clearance, product conformity and road permission need separate assessments. A laboratory report supports only its stated sample and scope.
Agree responsibilities before shipment
Name the responsible legal entities in writing for each destination and order. MiHunter's regional business confirmations do not appoint an importer of record, certification owner, warranty owner or spare-parts owner. A freight arrangement or warehouse address alone cannot establish who has accepted those responsibilities.
| Work to agree | Evidence to request |
| Importer and customs representative | Legal names, authority to act, destination, classification and clearance documents |
| Manufacturer and conformity checks | Ordered specification, applicable rules, technical documentation and declarations where required |
| Distributor and fleet use | Intended use, national and local restrictions, insurance and operating permissions where applicable |
| Warranty, repairs and spare parts | Claims process, labour, freight, parts supply and recall coordination in the contract |
The [EU importer guidance][EU1] describes conformity checks before market placement. Obtain the applicable legal assessment alongside your commercial agreement; allocating tasks by contract does not remove statutory duties.
## Europe: separate conformity from road permission
For each destination, match the manufacturer, model and configuration to the documents, then check vehicle category, equipment, insurance and registration. A speed setting or EN 17128 report alone cannot establish public-road permission.
| Destination | Check before offering road use |
| Spain | DGT vehicle certification, registration and compulsory-insurance process; distinguish certification from registration. [DGT][ES] |
| France | EDPM rules include a 25 km/h maximum and liability insurance; verify equipment and permitted routes. [Service Public][FR] |
| Italy | Check the identification-mark and liability-insurance measures, including the 2026 implementation notices. [MIT identification][IT1], [MIT insurance][IT2] |
| Germany | eKFV road operation requires an operating approval, insurance sticker, identification and compliant equipment. [eKFV §2][DE] |
| Poland | Check the 20 km/h operating limit and technical requirements; an announcement of future amendments is not an enacted rule. [Ministry guidance][PL] |
| Hungary | Check insurance applicability against design speed and weight; obtain the vehicle classification and permitted-use assessment separately. [Police guidance][HU] |
| Austria | Check the 600 W / 25 km/h category together with construction and equipment requirements, including the updated indicator rules. [Government guidance][AT] |
| Czechia | Start with BESIP guidance, then obtain a configuration-specific classification and insurance assessment; general cycling guidance cannot classify every powered scooter. [BESIP][CZ] |
High speed capability does not equal public-road legality in the EU/UK. Verify national rules. For high-power off-road products, plan private-land or closed-course channel use, subject to local requirements and site permission; do not promise road access.
South America: assess Brazil and Argentina separately
These are our confirmed priority markets; that does not establish local distribution, homologation or road permission. Orders require China factory fulfilment. Confirm factory stock by model and order, and allow separately for transport and clearance.
| Destination | Import responsibility | Road-use review |
| Brazil | Check Siscomex authorisation and representation with the proposed importer. [Receita Federal][BR1] | Match the configuration to the categories in CONTRAN Resolution 996/2023, then check current local circulation rules. [CONTRAN][BR2] |
| Argentina | Confirm the importer/declarant profile and customs procedure with ARCA. [ARCA][AR1] | Disposition 480/2020 invites provincial and municipal implementation; verify the rules at the actual destination. [ANSV][AR2] |
Confirm classification, product requirements, instructions and intended use with local advisers. European sample reports establish neither country's import nor road approval.
Africa: check the importing entity and intended use
Our African orders require China factory fulfilment, with transport time additional. Confirm factory stock by model and order. Before booking freight, check applicable product, battery, charger, labelling and transport requirements.
| Destination | Import check and official starting point | Use decision still required |
| South Africa | Importer registration, representation and declarations. [SARS][ZA1] | Obtain exact-category and local-road assessment under the applicable traffic framework. [Government act entry][ZA2] |
| Egypt | Check current importer-register eligibility and the product's import-control route. [GOEIC][EG] | Road category, registration and permitted locations remain unconfirmed for the ordered scooter. |
| Morocco | Check applicable industrial-product technical rules and conformity-control route. [Ministry][MA] | Road category, registration and permitted locations remain unconfirmed for the ordered scooter. |
Customs entry and European sample reports cannot establish South African road permission or local after-sales responsibility. Confirm import, conformity, warranty and spare-parts arrangements in writing. Regional working languages do not establish legally required label or manual languages.
Match the report to the configuration you order
Request complete reports and a written comparison of the model, battery, controller, voltage, power, speed and test scope. Resolve every difference before accepting the package. A manufacturer's model mapping identifies a product family; it does not extend test coverage.
For N07 RS and N07 GT, our manufacturer mapping associates both current sales names with the N07 sample in the SiCT materials. That mapping must accompany any citation: the documents use N07 rather than the full current sales names.
The SiCT package contains four laboratory Certificates of Conformity and four accompanying reports. They apply to tested samples, do not assess production and do not authorise unrestricted SiCT logo use. They do not replace a manufacturer EU Declaration of Conformity or road approval. Keep each document's configuration and scope separate; do not combine differing voltage or power fields. Independent verification of the laboratory/issuer remains pending. Obtain the destination's conformity and road-use assessment separately. For other models, testing and compliance documents can be provided according to the specific model, configuration and target market.
